📱 Step 1: Open the Bulletins Component
Log into your Worker Dashboard.
Locate and click on the Bulletins component located under the Communication and Collaboration section (middle of the screen)
The page will automatically default to your To Do tab, showing notices that require your immediate attention. (If you have no pending mandatory assignments, the page defaults to the All tab instead).
🔍 Step 2: Identify and Prioritize Your Notice Tiles
Each message tile displays a subject, a topic category, a timestamp, and the name of the administrator who posted it. Prioritize your list using these visual symbols:
🔔 Alerts (Red Bell Symbol):
Highly important, time-sensitive safety or operational messages. These are your top priority. You will also see urgent alert banners in the top menu bar of your main dashboard when these are active.Required Bulletins (Red Asterisk):
Mandatory messages that you are required to read, but carry less immediate time urgency than Alerts.
Optional Bulletins (Grey Dotted Circle):
Voluntary "nice-to-know" updates. Reading these is not necessary for your compliance score, but they may earn you reward points depending on company settings.
📄 Step 3: Complete the Mandatory Reading Timer
Click any tile to open and read the announcement. To prevent users from skipping critical safety information, administrators enforce a minimum reading threshold:
Look for the tracking banner sitting directly above the main post contents.
*During the review process you cannot exit Workhub, otherwise the timer will stop and resume once you return.
Read the message thoroughly while the system counter ticks down to zero.
Completing Your Review:
Auto-Approval: If your company has auto-approval enabled, you will see a green banner pop up confirming you are finished the moment the timer hits zero.
Manual Sign-Off: If manual validation is required, the banner changes into a Mark as Reviewed button when the timer expires. You must click this button to successfully submit your compliance signature.
Verification: Once successfully submitted, a green Done compliance bubble locks onto the top-right corner of the bulletin card.
📎 Step 4: Open and Read File Attachments
Administrators will frequently attach reference documents (such as safety policy sheets or equipment manuals) inside a blue contents box:
In-App Previews (Recommended): Click the file to open a viewing window inside Workhub. Crucial Rule: The time you spend reading an attachment inside this pop-up viewer counts directly toward your main bulletin countdown timer.
Local Downloading: Click Download to save the raw file onto your phone or computer. Note: If you exit the app to read a downloaded file in another program, the system cannot track your activity, and the countdown timer will pause.
💬 Step 5: Post Comments and Threaded Replies (Optional)
You can discuss notices or ask clarifying operational questions directly on the bulletin thread, before, during or after the review period of the bulletin.
Add a Standalone Comment: Scroll to the text input line beneath the post. Type your message (limited to 500 characters max) and click the Post button.
Reply to a Teammate: Click the Reply option nested under their specific message, type your response into the line, and click Reply.
Understanding Moderation States:
🗂️ Step 6: Use Quick Filter Tabs
Manage your reading history using the filter buttons running along the top of your screen:
To Do: Displays outstanding mandatory bulletins and urgent alerts.
Done: Houses all of your successfully reviewed mandatory communications.
Optional: Houses unread, voluntary notifications that carry zero compliance weight. Once read, these move directly to a Completed status.
All: Displays your entire communications archive simultaneously.
