Completing an Inspection via the Inspections Component
Step 1: Open the Component
From your Worker Dashboard, click on the Inspections component.
Step 2: Review Your Inspection List
Your available inspections will appear on the page, organized under grey section header bars. Look closely at the status tags on the standard white rows:
šØ Coming Due (Gold): The deadline is approaching; complete it soon.
š„ Past Due (Red): The scheduled submission date has passed; complete it immediately.
Step 3: Choose Your Target Asset or Location
Click on any inspection row. You will be taken to a list of Assets or Locations assigned to that inspection type.
If you manage one item: Click the asset/location name, or click Start Inspection in the top-right corner.
If you manage multiple items: A pop-up may prompt you to select the specific Asset or Location you are inspecting today before you can proceed.
š” Tip: If allowed by your administrator, clicking on an asset or location will display a history of its previous submissions for you to review before you begin.
Completing an Inspection via the My Assets Component
If you are inspecting a vehicle, tool, or piece of equipment assigned directly to you, taking this route is often faster.
Step 1: Open My Assets
From your Worker Dashboard, click on the My Assets component on the right side of the page.
Step 2: Select Your Asset
You will see a list of assets where you are registered as the operator. (Note: If you manage a team, your direct reports' assets will also appear here). Click on the specific asset you need to inspect.
Step 3: Start the Inspection
On the Asset Detail screen, locate the Inspections box on the right side of the page. This box displays the assigned inspection types and submission history. Click the Inspection Type you want to complete, then click Start Inspection in the top-right corner.
Filling Out and Submitting the Inspection Form Online

Once your form is open, follow these steps to fill it out accurately:
1. Log Initial Meter Readings (If Applicable)
If you are inspecting an Asset (like a vehicle), look at the top of the form. Enter the current Odometer Reading and/or Hours value before continuing.
2. Answer Every Check
Scroll through the grey section bars and read the description for each individual criteria point. Select the most accurate status button (such as Pass, Warning, or Issue) for each item.
3. Add Mandatory Photos and Comments
Depending on the status you choose, your administrator may require additional proof before you can submit:
Look for an asterisk (*) next to the comment or photo buttonsāthis indicates the item is mandatory.
To add text: Click into the comment field and type your notes.
To add a photo: Click Upload Photo.
ā ļø Mobile Browser Camera Note: Due to strict privacy and hardware permissions built into some phone operating systems, your mobile browser may occasionally block direct access to your camera. If your camera will not open within Workhub, simply snap the photo using your phone's native camera app first, then use the Upload Photo button to select that image directly from your photo gallery.
4. File Optional Action Items
If you discover a hazard or deficiency during your check that requires maintenance, you can optionally click to add an Action Item to that specific check to alert the repair team.
5. Submit Your Work
Every single check must have a status selected, and all mandatory fields (asterisks) must be filled out such as photos and/or comments. Once completed, the Submit button at the top of the page will turn dark blue. If the button is still grey and unclickable you are missing checks/data.

Click Submit to finalize and send your report to your administration team.
