How to Locate the SDS and Material information
Open the Materials & SDS Component
Log into your Worker Dashboard.
Select the Materials & SDS tile from your component list on your main dashboard.
You will see a comprehensive list of all the chemical materials made available to you within your organization.
Find and Open a Material
Option A (Manual Search): Scroll through the comprehensive list or use the search bar at the top of the screen to type the name of the chemical, product, or manufacturer. Click on the material row to open it.
Option B (Visual Scan): If your company uses physical Workhub Workplace Labels on chemical containers, scan the QR code on the container label using your mobile device to open the material page instantly.
Review Safe Handling Instructions
⚠️ Important Safety Note: If you notice that a material's safety details are outdated, or if the SDS revision date has not been updated in more than three years, do not guess the safety steps. Contact your Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator immediately so they can source the latest document from the manufacturer.
Clicking on a material opens a dedicated page displaying all of its vital safety information. Review the following fields before handling the chemical:
Material Image: Look at the image at the top of the screen to visually confirm you are viewing the correct container.
Safe Handling Instructions: Scroll down to review the exact handling, storage, and safety steps provided by the manufacturer.
Classification & Revision Badges: Check these data tags to verify the chemical's hazard class and regulatory currency.
