Rid yourself of old data to start fresh!

Updated over a year ago

Sometimes your Workhub dash or components in the software won't appear quite right or may behave a little strangely. Those issues can be a little tough to diagnose to sometimes, but a good first step to try and get things working right is to clear your browser cache.

Keyboard Shortcuts

There are two keyboard shortcuts to get your cache cleared.

The first shortcut is:

Ctrl + Shift + Delete

(on some keyboards, Delete will simply appear as Del). Hitting all these together will bring up a screen for you to choose to clear your cache.
There is usually an option to check or uncheck to remove any saved passwords - please be sure if you want to retain your passwords to uncheck this option.

The second shortcut is one that forces the browser to ignore the cached data and load only the live software. To do this, you should use the keyboard shortcut:

Shift + F5

These keys pressed together won't clear your cache but will force the browser to ignore cached data and only load live data from the website. This method will not remove any saved passwords either, but you may have to do it a few times when you return to Workhub for the stored data to update.

If keyboard shortcuts aren't your thing, you can also follow any of the tutorials below to clear the cache in specific browsers:
