The Partner tool allows you insight into your clients

As a Partner with Workhub, you are able to administer the accounts for clients utilizing the software. That process hasn't been streamlined for a while, but we're hoping the introduction of a tool to provide overview of and tools related to your clients will make the task an easier one and the process simpler!


The Partner component is only available to accounts that are set as Partner within Workhub. Partners are those individuals or companies who work with Workhub to refer organizations to use Workhub and/or maintain Workhub accounts for organizations. Accounts on other plans with Workhub (paid or free) will not see this component, so please don't fret if you don't see it.


Clicking on the Partner component will bring up a list of the accounts listed as your clients within Workhub.

This list is organized primarily by Account Type. By default, you will see client accounts that are listed as Trial accounts. After Trial, you will see the accounts that are on Paid plans, and finally you will see Free accounts listed at the bottom. A secondary sorting is applied to the list, that of alphabetical A-Z listing by Client Name. You can use the arrows at the top of each column to reorganize the listings how you like. There are also filter options in the top left corner to include only your Paid, Trial, or Free clients.

Each listing on the page will contain details for your client accounts, including:

  • Client Name

  • Account Type

  • Compliance Percentage

  • Number of Workers

  • Last Login for the account

  • Account Creation date

Managing your Clients

At the far right end of each listing company listing, you can click the three dots to bring up an action menu.

For each client, you can:

  • View: this will move you to your profile with that account

  • Edit Account Type: this will prompt you to choose what Account Type you want the client to be. You choose which Account Type you'd like to switch it to and choose Send Request to send our Partner Support team a request to take that action.



    If you choose Paid, you will then need to select if you want the bill to be delivered to the client or to the Partner.


  • Remove Access: this option allows you to submit a request to have this account removed from your Partner Account group, and the removal of access through the Accounts button. Your direct access will still be intact through the standard login process.


  • Delete Account: this option allows you to request that a client account be deleted altogether. This will remove access for you and all other workers in the account.

Each of these options will generate an email request for our Partner Support team to address as soon as they are able. In the future we hope to make this ability something you as a Partner can manage directly! This is the first of many steps towards that capacity.

Adding New Clients



In the top right corner of the page you will see a button called Add Client. Clicking that button will bring up a pop-up for to you input information for the request for account creation that will be generated on your behalf.

In the first step, you are asked what type of account you would like to create. Choose the appropriate option and click the Continue button in the bottom right corner.

In the second step, you need to enter the information for the prospective company. Mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk. Click Continue when you have the information added.

In the third step, you can select which users from your Partner account you would like to have a profile created within the new account, and beneath that you can add users who only need to exist in the new account. If you choose to add new users to the account, you'll need to supply their Name, Position, Location, and email address.

After entering that information, click Continue.

The final page in the pop-up will ask you if you would like to import any items from your Partner account into the new account. You can also include information in the Notes field if there is further information you would like to communicate with your request. When you're ready, click the Send Request button to submit your request to our Partners support team!
