How do I give my auditor access to Workhub?

Updated over a week ago

If you would like to invite an auditor into Workhub to explore your safety program, it's as easy as creating an Auditor position for them and giving them View level access for the various permissions for the sections that they need access to. You don't need to give them access to personal information on your workers (Administer Workers permission) but you can give access to permissions like Administer Training, Administer Procedures, Administer Bulletins, etc. With these permissions, they can view the areas that satisfy your audit requirements.

First, you'll want to create an Auditor position.

To get started creating positions, on your admin dashboard, click on Positions & Roles

On the top-right of the screen, there will be an Add Position button. Once that's selected, you're able to name the position, and who that position reports to.

In the Permissions tab, you could choose to give this Position Custom permission. The Custom permissions will ensure appropriate access levels for this Position (Note: This feature is for paid customers only).

You then need to add them as a Worker to that position.

Still, on your Admin dashboard, click on Workers. Then select the blue Add Worker button. There will be seven required fields in order to set up your worker- First name, Last name, Position, Location, Email, Timezone, and Employee Type. Once inputted, Save Worker

In order for them to access the account, you'll need to set them up with a password. You have the option to set a password for them or select a random word as the password. You can then notify them by email, or pass it on depending on your preference.
