Assignments by ℗Location is available to Standard Plan Subscribers Only
In addition to setting requirements by position, you can also set requirements to be location specific. ℗Location based requirements can be enabled individually on each of these modules:
Policies
Procedures
Certificates
Online Courses
To enable ℗Location based requirements, navigate to the settings page of each module and set the following to yes.
Once this feature has been enabled, you will see the assignments view on the component has changed.
You can still set the requirements by position, which we refer to as the default setting, but you now also have the ability to set requirements by location, which we refer to as exceptions.
If your company's assignments are set up by location, "required" assignment levels (low, medium, high, and critical) won’t be available.
Select a spot on the matrix to open up the location assignments
Here, you can select a default option for all locations, in this example I have set the Default to N/A, but set optional and required exceptions for various locations.
Once you save and revert back to the main assignments screen, you will see the locations with an exception have been added under the appropriate requirements columns. These assignments will be applied once saved.
