As a Worker, your organization's administrators may have assigned Procedures for you to review. Procedures are documents that outline the steps, hazards, risk levels and controls in place for you to undertake your daily work safely!
Reviewing a Procedure
To review a Procedure that an admin has assigned to you, log into your Workhub account and click into Procedures.
Your Procedures list will show you the Procedures you have To Do right when you open the component. Procedures you have To Do will appear in red.
To review a Procedure, click into its listing. You may see a document that you are required to read, or you may encounter a video that needs to be watched all the way through.
In both cases, a gold banner will appear at the bottom of the document or video with a time listed. This time is how long you need to spend reviewing the contents of the Procedure.
After reviewing the contents of the Procedure, Workhub will mark you as having reviewed the Procedure. The banner will change to green, and it will indicate to you the version you have reviewed and the date of your review.
You will also see a box on the right side of the screen with details about the Procedure, such as the procedure contact, document number, version, date of last review by an administrator, and any reasons for the last review listed by the admin. These details are available to you in case you have any questions about the document!
If your organization is using Workhub's Rewards program, you may also receive points for reviewing a Procedure. Be sure to check with your admin if you have questions!
Comments
You may also see a line at the bottom of the Procedure for Comments. You can add any comments you would like to a Procedure by typing in the field provided, then hitting Comment to submit your thoughts.
Please ensure your comments are workplace appropriate. While sharing your thoughts may be permitted by your admins, maintaining a respectful approach in the workplace is always encouraged!
Depending on the settings enabled by your admins, your comment may automatically be approved and posted, or it may need approval by admins before being visible to others. If it requires approval, your comment will appear in gold, with a status of Pending Approval.
Once your comment has been approved, other workers will be able to read, vote on, and reply to your comment.
You'll also be able to see any comments other Workers have added to the Procedure.
Procedure List
In addition to the To Do Procedures that will appear for you right off the bat, there are other screens of Procedures you may want to review!
β
Procedures you have already reviewed and are now listed as Done will be housed in the Done tab.
You can refer to this page at any time to have a second look at a Procedure you need a refresher on, to double-check your last review, or to have a readthrough of any comments left by others.
You may also see an Optional tab. The Optional tab will house any Procedures that have been made available to you but aren't considered mandatory for you to complete. You can read or view these at your leisure!
Finally, if all your To Do Procedures have been completed, your Procedures page will default to show you All Procedures. You can also select this tab if you want to see everything within procedures together.
If you are using this tab to review what you need to do, pay close attention to the Status column, where you will see your current status on each Procedure available to you!
That's all there is to it! Pretty simple stuff, right? If you encounter any issues reviewing a Procedure, feel free to reach out to our Support team using the orange chat bubble in the bottom left corner of your screen or sending us an email at [email protected].
