How to review a Policy as a Worker

How to make sure you're

Updated over a year ago

As a worker, you may be assigned Policies by the admins for your organization. To be considered compliant for your Policies, you'll need to review and acknowledge them! Here's a guide on how to do so.
โ€‹

If you have Policies that need review, you can log into your Workhub account and click or tap into the Policies component. The dashboard tile will show you how many you have done and how many you have left to do.

โ€‹

In the Policies component, you will see the items that you need to do highlighted for you first. Anything you need to read and acknowledge will be listed in red. Clicking into any Policy will open a new screen for you with the Policy contents for you to review.

Take your time to review the Policy and ensure you understand the contents.

If the admins for your organization have set a specific amount of time they would like Workers to review the Policy, you will see a yellow banner at the bottom of the Policy document specifying how long that period is. After that time has elapsed, the banner will offer you two buttons: Decline and Acknowledge.
The messaging to go with the banner will differ a little bit depending on if it's your first time reviewing the Policy or if there have been changes to it and they require your review, but the choices will still exist!

Choosing Acknowledge will mark you as compliant for the Policy.

Choosing Decline will not mark you as compliant for the Policy, and you will be prompted to add a reason for your declination. That reason will be recorded for your organization's admin to review. They may discuss your decline with you.

At the top right corner of a Policy you may see a Download button. You can use that button to download a PDF copy of the Policy document.

If you choose, you may add a comment to a Policy. If you do, and administrator will review your comment and choose to share the comments or hide it. When a comment is shared, all Workers who have access to the Policy will be able to see the comment.

That's all there is to it! Pretty simple stuff, right? If you encounter any issues acknowledging a Policy, feel free to reach out to our Support team using the orange chat bubble in the bottom left corner of your screen or sending us an email at [email protected].
